And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. ~ Acts 2:44-45
New Testament Giving
2 Chorinthians 9:6-15 is a wonderful passage that opens our eyes to how God intends the New Testament Church to give. There are several take aways about giving in this passage that we should seek to emulate as we evaluate our own giving in light of what Scripture teaches.
A gift is a personal decision between an individual, couple or family and God. It is born out of a heart of greatfulness to God for what he has given them. It is to be given freely and joyously and not under a pressure from others regarding the size, frequency or purpose. Giving is one way that we, the Body of Christ, support the work of the Gospel both locally and abroad.
We believe that it is good for the Body of Christ to not simply give a financial gift to the church funds, but also be looking for and meeting the needs of others within the Body and those outside the body. Giving is a result of our gratitude to God for His great gift that he has given us, Jesus Christ.

Where Do My Gifts Go?
Liberty Hills Bible Church is a local body of believers who meet regularly, both corporately and in smaller groups. Doing so creates needs for the Church as we engage with one another in these venues. LHBC is thankful to all who have given to the work of the Lord over the years and continue to do so!
While most gifts are undesignated or designated to our general fund, we seek to honor gifts directed to other aspects of the ministry. When you give to LHBC your gift will be used to further the work of making mature followers of Christ to the glory of God through local, national, and global opportunities.
LHBC is a 501(c)3 organization and all gifts are tax-deductible.
